These documents encompass the statutory English NC requirements for each year group in a more teacher-friendly style! They work on the premise of revisiting and securing previous year group’s objectives/programmes of study (Working Towards) before moving onto securing the objectives of their current year group. Each framework is in line with recent initiatives and updated versions/publications.
I have also designed a framework for those working at a lower/foundation/emerging level (SEN/LAP) within their year group curriculum.
I am head of English and both my school-as well as those within the borough-found these frameworks an effective system for evidencing the NC requirements for English. The documents were commended by inspectors during a recent visit.
