This lesson can be used independently as a way for children to use the 5 senses to create imagery with a fairground being the inspiration for this. This lesson was only to mind map their ideas, in the next lesson I got them to then write lovely sentences including the senses they found from this lesson! Attached is the PPT i went through with the children - I also made sure to stop the class and get the class’ responses for other children to magpie. Also included is a 5 senses worksheet for the children to jot their ideas down.
