Valentine’s Day is just the best! It’s one of my favorite holidays in the classroom or at home. I
love all the decorated valentine boxes, little Valentine’s Day cards handed out, and all the
yummy treats.
It’s just a fun time and one I have loved since I was in elementary school.
Each page includes:
A picture with directions of how to make the upper and lower case of the letter for that page
Three lines to practice writing the capital letter for the page
Two lines to write the lower case letter for that page
A heart graphic with letters inside circles. Children will color in only the letters that are the
ones that were practiced on that page. There is a short instruction that tells them which
letters to color.
Letter Practice Page for Aa - from the Valentine’s Day Alphabet Printables Packet from Real

HOW TO USE THIS PACKET
First important thing: You don’t really have to use this packet around Valentine’s Day if you
don’t want to. Other than the cover page, there is no specific mention of Valentine’s Day. So,
feel free to use these pages whenever you want. Hearts are not exclusive to February 14th.
All of the pages (except one) of the Valentine’s Day alphabet printables packet are outlines.
This is great for saving on printer ink!
I would recommend just giving students one or two pages to work on at a time. However, if
you want to put together a whole packet for them, you could consider using it for at-home
practice or put it in a pronged folder in the classroom for them to work on over a certain
course of time.
