Our year 5 & 6 children made a brush monster in Technology club after school and it was a great success! It was simple to make but also made them think carefully about where to fix things onto the model and also how an electric circuit works. When some didn't initially work they had to work out whether there was a break in the circuit or if they had connected it incorrectly. Afterwards they had lots of fun racing their brush monsters in the hall and we had lots of discussion about the different directions some of the monsters were moving in and why!
