This is a full unit of work that explores issues relating to the supply of water in the UK, helping students to focus on a range of issues scheduled to be examined in the upcoming AQA GCSE Geography (8035) Paper 3 and also within Paper 2.
Your students will be led through step-by-step stages to collect evidence to help justify a decision with regard to whether or not a reservoir should be sited at Abingdon in Oxfordshire.

- To evaluate how efficient the system of water transfer is in the UK.
- To examine how demographic change impacts on UK water security.

This is a fabulous resource that I am going to use with my GCSE groups in the run up to the exams; I was looking for something to help prepare my classes for the AQA Paper 3 and this is just perfect. I particularly like that there is teacher materials directly based on the pre-release booklet - it is just like having a text book.
