Fed up of the usual ladder-resting-against-a-wall trigonometry questions? This activity gets pupils thinking about the relationship between the length of the opposite and hypotenuse of a right angled triangle in relation to the angles. Pupils assume the role of builders trying to decide which ladder is best for reaching the top of a wall.
Any feedback is appreciated, as I am a student teacher and would value feedback from experienced practitioners.
