• What a location needs to be classified as a world wonder.
• Case Study -NEW world wonder - Machu Picchu - Why it is a world wonder, costs/benefits it brings to an area and management strategies.
• Case Study - Natural world wonder - Mount Everest- Why it is a world wonder, costs/benefits it brings to an area and management strategies.
• Analysis of world wonders/comparison
• Researching and designing their own pitch for a new 8th wonder of the world.

Suits a range of different abilities.
Tasks are differentiated, with supporting source material and websites.
Different forms of learning and research are embedded for different learning types.
