This assembly was orignally delivered by the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Coventry.
It looks at how people contributed to the war effort, working on the home front and the front line. It tells the stories of two sets of people, including a lady who had spent her whole life in Coventry and a family who moved to Coventry from Barbados just before the war.
Included with the resources are the orignal notes from the assembly, which you are welcome to adapt to suit your school.
