Y5/6 Oceans

I used with my Y5/6 class during our water topic. They asked to look at oceans, so in a lesson we looked at how they were made, why they are blue, why they are salty, the difference between a sea and an oceans, waves, tides and tsunamis.
A lot to do but they wanted to know it! we also located the different oceans on maps and in atlases.
