PE unit of learning contains 5 Haka Dance themed lessons for Year 5 and Year 6. Includes powerpoints and learning resources/media links for each lesson. A real unique unit of learning with adaptations from the Twinkl Haka unit. Promotes group work and planning sequences. Key dance terminology such as ‘Unison’, ‘Cannon’, ‘Motif’ and ‘Dynamics’. Also includes a step by step break down of how to perform the Haka, modelled my me!

Very expensive and not really that useful - mostly uses Twinkl. Wouldn't recommend - much more of use on the internet for free.

Thank you for the feedback. Twinkl is the scaffold for this unit as the description highlights. It has been modified to suit a ‘whole-part-whole’ approach where the children can adapt the moves taught through the gifs by adding their own ‘sporting moves’ to the music provided by YouTube. I incorporated the gifs as twinkle only provided images which were difficult for the children to follow.
I am currently working on an alternative version of this unit which I have developed since teaching this unit. This new version moves away from twinkl a lot more and may be more suited for you.
