This is a lesson aimed at year 7, it would work well as a summary lesson to conclude a module studying the topic of religious festivals in RE. The lesson is structured around recall, consolidation of prior attained knowledge and several fun activities to finish the module.
Festivals (or periods of observance) explicitly referred to in this lesson include: Ramadan, Christmas, Easter, Passover, Diwali, and Wesak. Of course classroom discussion could branch out to mention/recall other festivals that exist besides these key ones.
