Year 2 harvest comprehension bundle

This bundle contains a collection of non-fiction comprehension booklets aimed at year 2. The theme for the booklets is harvest.

The three topics covered are:

• Harvest Festival
• Harvest around the world
• Thanksgiving

Each comprehension includes 3 differentiated levels. There are a range of ‘what,’ ‘who’, ‘when’, ‘where’ and ‘why’ questions, some multiple choice tick questions, true or false questions and some that require more detailed answers. There is a colour and black & white version of each booklet and answers are also included.

Harvest Festival

This comprehension is all about the harvest festival and covers what it is, its history, traditions and how people celebrate now.

The higher ability booklet has 13 questions in total. The middle ability has 12 questions and the lower ability has 11 questions.

Harvest Around the World

This comprehension is all about harvest around the world and covers Thanksgiving in America, rice festivals in Asia, the fruit festival in Thailand and the harvest moon festival.

Each level has 13 questions in total.

Thanksgiving

This comprehension is all about Thanksgiving celebrations in America and covers the history of the holiday and current traditions.

There are 13 questions in the higher ability booklet, 12 questions in the middle ability and 10 questions in the lower ability.
