The plans include:

  • A ‘teacher knowledge’ section, providing the knowledge teaching staff need in order to be ‘one step ahead’ of the children.
  • The prior knowledge children need to access the unit.
  • Flashback questions that can be used to begin each new focus.
  • Granular steps.
  • Key learning goals.
  • Key vocabulary.

Please note, each section is not designed to be delivered in one lesson. Those delivering have the autonomy to choose how they teach the sessions and how long they spend on each area of learning.
