Embedding the text into the children’s long term memory so that when it is time, they can retrieve this information and apply the skills to their own work. A fun and interactive learning week that gives the building blocks for future learning.
The grammar skills focus are coordinating conjunctions, with the FANBOYS broken down into their uses, prepositions and lots of chance for AfL and self and peer reflection.
All tasks in week 2 link to the work undertaken in week 1. There may be some resources to make but all ideas are on the slides to structure.
Week 3 breaks down the planning and writing that will be undertaken by the chn whilst giving them ownership of how they want to communicate.
