This is a year 3/4 whole-class reading lesson using Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes: Little Red Riding Hood.
The children discuss their existing knowledge of Little Red Riding Hood, read the new version, discuss, and then summarise the story. HAPS will be pushed to discuss the differences between different tales.
My reading lessons focus on the explicit reaching of 1-2 reading skills from the VIPERS skill set, to allow children to build on their understanding of different reading strands.
All texts belong/created by Roald Dahl, no copyright infringement intended
