Year 4 Fraction Bundle - Spring

This bundle of resources covers 4 weeks of fractions for Year 4 during the Spring term. The resources aim to help children gain a deeper understanding of the concepts covered in the topic. Pack 1 recaps what a fraction is and looks at equivalent fractions. Pack 2 looks at fractions greater than 1 and adding/ subtracting fractions. Pack 3 covers counting in fractions and more on subtracting fractions. Pack 4 covers finding fractions of quantities and has an 'End of unit assessment'.
The resources have a good mix of fluency, reasoning and problem solving activities and promote the use of CPA (Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract) throughout.
