Year 4: Horrid Henry - Stories in Familiar Settings (Week 1 of 2)

A small selection of Horrid Henry books are required for this unit.

This bundle includes lesson plans, resources and an interactive PowerPoint to support the teaching of Stories in Familiar Settings based on the Year 4 National Curriculum scheme of work. During this first week, children will read and enjoy a selection of Horrid Henry books as they learn/remind themselves about this funny young boy who has a talent for getting into trouble! They will research, identify and describe familiar settings used within these stories as they practise extending sentences with descriptive phrases.
SPAG/GPS covered this week: prepositional phrases, noun phrases and prefixes.
