Year 4 Prefixes and Suffixes Quiz Cards

This pack contains 33 quiz cards which supports pupil’s learning of prefixes and suffixes. Questions include;
-defining what prefixes and suffixes are,
-unscrambling the spelling,
-identifying and recalling the prefix/suffix which alters the root word

This can be used as a warm up, revision task,spelling practice, vocabulary practice, time filling exercise and more. This activity promotes reading, spelling and oracy skills. Pupils each have a card and then test each other either in table groups, pairs or whole class activities. Simply print the sets, fold, laminate and store for future use.
