Year 6 Grammar Revision - Lessons

This smartboard is a variety of lessons based on the grammar expectations for the end of year 6 SATS. There are 92 slides that have a variety of starters, plenaries and a main activity. All the lessons' main activities are based on a range of past paper SATs using the format the pupils will be exposed to in the actual SATs.

The areas that are covered are:

-adverbs of time and place
-adverbs or adjectives in sentences identification
-use of I or me
-use of commas
-use of apostophes
-verb tenses
-using correct punctuation : ; - ( ) " " ' , ! ?
-plurals
-using the same word as a noun and verb
-synonyms, antonyms
-active and passive voice


Ideal for revision purpose and the lessons are for one lesson a week which would be for over a half a term of learning.
