This treasure hunt contains 25 questions which I have written in the style of SATs questions. To play the game, I laminated the questions and stuck them around school. I also gave them a map, with the locations circled so they could orienteer their way around school but that's up to you! I gave the children 50 minutes to work in partners to answer as many of the questions correctly. Once the time was up, we gathered back in the classrooms and marked the answers together. I modelled how to solve the problems.
This game worked really well: it was fun, active and the children didn't even realise they were revising- perfect! :-)

Brilliant resource - great that it covers so many question types!
Thank you :)
My group worked in pairs also and I allowed them to pick which question to answer together. The variety of problems was really comprehensive and included areas I particularly wanted the children to revise. We had fun with this resource, thank you so much. I worked out all the answers beforehand also.
Excellent resource - I'm going to use this as an Easter egg hunt maths lesson around school. A good way to encourage working in pairs/ teams -reasoning together and great revision in readiness for SATs. Do you happen to have an answer sheet for these questions? I've bought the resource but I cannot see any answers to the 25 questions to save me working them all out myself.
Thanks,
Stacey.
