Year 6: Significant Authors - JRR Tolkien (2 weeks)

This bundle includes 2 weeks of lesson plans and resources to support the learning of Significant Authors. Children will focus on The Hobbit by the award winning author, JRR Tolkien. They will enjoy learning about and creating their own author fact-files, creating their own ‘hero’ character profile and experiment with writing descriptive phrases before writing their own fantasy story.
SPAG covered: adjectives, conjunctions, parentheses, colons and semi-colons, dialogue.
