Zoo Trip

This is a very simple poem about a trip to the zoo. Very often I want a simple rhyme on a particular theme to use in my drama classes with EYFS or KS1. I can look for ages online but very often end up writing my own as it 's quicker! This could be used as an action poem in drama leading to a whole group improvisation, a whole class learning exercise for recitation or performance in assembly, or just a fun poem for parents to read to their child. I hope you find it useful.
