The slides support the teaching of mastery by starting with basic concepts and taking all the class with you as the tasks get trickier. These tasks are designed for children to use practical equipment to support their learning. The lesson activities include true or false Q’s, individual tasks, guess the number an build, connect four and many more. We have recently introduced double maths sessions with a break splitting them, this has given us time to embed concepts and use the correct vocab. It has also allowed the children to discuss Maths at length and these slides support this. You can use this as a 1-2-1, small intervention or whole class resource. These Sight Word Fluency Sentence flash cards are a FAB way for your pupils to become confident and fluent readers! Hi, This resource is great for whole lessons. You can model writing a sustained piece and structure how to add depth and creativity to a paragraph/short/long piece of writing. I’ve played around with how I use this presentation, here are some suggestions, and if you find better ways then please share your good practice. 1. Print slides and allow children to use as prompts for writing about a stimulus. 2. Show children stimulus and then do some talk for writing, than ask them to write sentence/paragraph 1 and then share with class. Repeat process for all 6 sentence types. 3. Print the slides and cut the strips up. Allow children to mix and match to create different structures. I really hope that this resource is useful. Many thanks

I use this resource in my class to remind my Year 3/4 children of my expectations during any writing task. They are great for quickly showing differentiation or just for reminding the children of what is expected of them . I love using the ‘check your writing’ bookmark as it gives the children a check list of what to look for! This resource includes: 3 differentiated writing book marks (ranging from Year 4 expected, Year 3/4 developing and E.O.Y 2 expectations for my lowers). 1 bookmark to remind how to use speech in writing. 1 bookmark to remind children of what to check in their writing. The children love to be active during Phonic sessions. This activity can be adapted to any occasion/activity. For example you could use it as a dart/arrow board or roll an object and see what word it lands on. I have used it in trays or baskets and with many items that the children roll , e.g pebbles, die, small cubes, spinning tops to name a few. This game is great for promoting vocabulary/terminology in my mixed R/1 class. This download includes 10 PDF documents with 4 pages (40 game boards in all). Each game board covers a range of sounds from phase 2-5 and set 2/3 RWI. This game is a great revision activity that is fun and allows children to show what they know as well as collaborate/play with other children. This can be used as a whole class activity / starter or with 1:1/group interventions. Great revision activity for the upcoming phonics screening test. No real preparation needed. Simply print, cut and use. To play who’s who the children need to pick a word and then ask other players questions to eliminate possible words (aliens). Alternatively you can laminate boards and just ask children to choose a alien (word) and ask children to sit in a group to play. Interactive smartboard which contains quiz style slides and drag and drop activities. Works well alongside plickers. I cut the questions up and either use them to extend learners who have completed tasks or for plenaries/starters.
