I am a super dyslexic teacher, with a dash of ADD, all my resources are built with access in mind, because honestly, if they weren't I wouldn't be able to read them. Note the pastel tones, chunking and clear notation ques. As such my resources are also super easy to scaffold or stretch, and definitely easy to replicate. Please enjoy, and hang in there, at whatever school you're at, I can guarantee that those kids need you in their lives a lot more than you realise.

https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/DinosaurLaboratory Be weird, be funny, be gross, have fun, play, stick to your routines and find that little spark of madness we all have and electrocute the class with it! My style of teaching isn’t for everyone, I’m a dyslexic teacher who’s heard it all, my lessons are all catered towards accessibility (because if they were not I’d never be able to read them myself). Everything is short sharp and to the point, I don’t believe in endless writing, reams of printing, spoon feeding diagrams or pointless activities. Every minute matters! Be sure to check out all my other resources, as a personal goal I intend to share all my resources at least once because hey, the government isn’t going to make it easier and we both know you are reading this way outside of your work hours. Enjoy, comment or rate if you can, but most of all hang in there, they need you way more than you realise!

Part 3 of a 4 lesson investigation discovering and proving for themselves that what they know about the differences between animal and plant cells is accurate, the format follows an IMRAD report and will have students presenting and peer reviewing their work for accuracy. Following in great footsteps... https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/matthewharman777 Be weird, be funny, be gross, have fun, play, stick to your routines and find that little spark of madness we all have and electrocute the class with it! KS3 Geology (Igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary)

Recently updated! This lesson in current use has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, thank you to everyone who helped in the development! Love this lesson, my degree is in environmental science and getting the kids hands on and identifying rocks is the best way to go about it, you don’t necessarily require samples for this, but it does amplify the learning and engagement by a long way. Don’t forget to throw in a few geology jokes, I mean, there’s loads, almost to a fault, you might have to dig up some up, some are a bit schist, but its gneiss to try and the kids will learn to take nothing for Granite. Heart Dissection (the ultimate classroom guide sheet!)

Heart Dissection (the ultimate classroom guide sheet!)

(1)
Heart dissection classes are amongst the hardest and most daunting, partly because its difficult, its new with new tools and most of all because our boys have a terrible habit of lying about how squeamish they really are! This single worksheet and one heart between two students is all you need for a top notch quality learning lesson, no slides required! The worksheet shows a butterfly style heart dissection, so called as the front and back are seperated and if performed correctly resembles a gruesome butterfly, you will have access to each blood vessel, all valves and have a ver identifiable structure you can reference to in workbooks. Tips for best practice -Practice by yourself first! -Show each step by webcam onto the big screen, or even better Discord can stream to multiple ipads/tablets on each desk. -Make it a competion, biggest bloodclot found, best dissection, most features correctly identified etc. -Let them mess it up, but show them their success (oh that incision is in the wrong place, but you just found the Aorta!!!)

KS4 P3 Energy Resources

The MOTHER-OF-ALL-DEBATES is included with this bundle, students will take time learning the facts then let the learning fly in the final lesson. Students will never forget how they learned about renewable and fossil fuel energy! Top-tips Manage the quiet ones, encourage and reward their opinions, the louder students and the budding activists will take care of themselves. Let them know there’s a debate to get ready for, set them homework for research on debates, energy resources and practice constantly how you want them to argue. (Demoing this is so much FUN). https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/matthewharman777 Be weird, be funny, be gross, have fun, play, stick to your routines and find that little spark of madness we all have and electrocute the class with it! KS3 C1 Matter (bundle)

3 Resources
A bundle of fun, scaffolded and extended lessons and resources explaining the subject of Matter, students will explore the particle model, diffusion, dissolving, changes of state, purity and seperating mixtures. These resources are designed specifically to be accessable for ALL students, SEN, EAL and G&T alike.
KS4 B3 Organisation and the digestive system

KS4 B3 Organisation and the digestive system

5 Resources
My entire resources for B3, this bundle covers tissues, organs, chemistry of food, enzyme action and the processes of digestion. Terrific required practical opportunites and some really great methods I picked up last year, good tips are to double check your enzymes and solutions beforehand, backup tasks are of course included. I found it easier to stretch my students over the method writing aspect part of this midule so you'll find a heavy focus (and accountability) for a written report at the end of the required practical.
KS4 B1 Cell Structure and Transport
DinosaurLaboratoryDinosaurLaboratory

KS4 B1 Cell Structure and Transport

8 Resources
A complete bundle of resources covering all of B1 including required practicals, differentiated tasks for wide ability students all in the dyslexia friendly formats I enjoy. All students will be challenged by these tasks, I recommend stretching out the microscope lessons in particular (I formed a whole weeks STEM tasks around this module for studying animal and plant cells (also on tes)). Everything required for teaching is included, just download, tweak and teach.
