Israel - Palestine Conflict - this lessons covers the origins of the troubles in the Middle East. There is a debate focus on who is to blame and who does the land rightfully belong to, with a 20 min assessment task at the end complete with all materials to mark and feedback. An hour long fully resourced and well differentiated lesson all about the history of the British Monarchy, how it eventually became a constitutional one, how this happened and the key events along the way. Used as a high ability year 8 lesson but easily edited to suit any group. All activities have three challenge levels of tasks. The pack includes a Powerpoint, clips, worksheets and a timeline of monarchy and British government through the ages, which could be used as a display or part of a chronology activity.

For Christmas / End of term or any time! No ordinary Maths Quiz! This is a fun numerical general knowledge quiz with, of course, some proper head-scratcher maths questions thrown in. There are a mix of easy and difficult questions, many are rounds where you’ll have to do some proper calculations, yet many are based around current affairs and pop-culture where you have a good chance of gaining points if your answer is nearest to the number on the answer sheet. This is suitable for KS3 or KS4 and perfect for the last maths lesson of term.
