This resource is for 5 GCSE PE theory individual lesson plans. Where possible most of the learning can be taught practically (more engaging for pupils).
The lesson plans would be useful for those teaching GCSE PE as a new teacher or who are looking for new ideas for teaching GCSE PE. The sessions work as a good precursor to starting a Personal Training Plan as part of the coursework.

These lesson plans could be used for students in Year 9, 10 and 11 who are sitting GCSE PE. Similarly the nature of these lessons means that they can be taught in multiple settings with multiple numbers of students. These sessions are taught as non-contact and teach the skills of Boxing

This resource has been made for teaching assistants working with weaker swimmers within a whole group set-up. The plans are two individuals lesson. One lesson is aimed at a student with a fear of submerging their head under water and working around this to develop their water confidence.
The other lesson deals with students who have more confidence in the water. Both lessons can work well over a swimming block with progressions looking at technique refinement and increasing distance. Both lessons follow a whole stroke approach.
