An activity workbook for Year 1 children to complete when they join their new class. The workbook contains five worksheets for children to complete. I use this workbook to assess whether children can write their name correctly, can count and write numbers in order and can read and write simple words. Children also enjoy sharing information about their friends and family and creating their own picture shields.

A presentation aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children about ambition. The presentation explains what ambition is and how to achieve an ambition. The presentation encourages children to think about their own ambitions and how they can achieve them. The presentation could be used as an assembly or during a PSHE discussion or lesson. There are also 3 worksheets for children to complete as a follow up to an assembly or during a PSHE lesson. The worksheets cover drawing a picture and writing about their ambition, breaking their ambition into chunks and creating a certificate for when they achieve their ambition.

A set of 8 common noun games. These games help children to identify, describe and talk about nouns. The games include lots of colourful, interesting pictures. There is also a poster that explains what a noun is. Aimed at KS1 children but could be used with lower KS2 to recap common nouns.

A set of 30 pictures each with a question to be answered for example describe the bear, who lives here? Children to answer the question using all of the skills that they have learnt in English. This activity book could be used with KS1 or KS2 and the teacher could add a challenge for example you must include a question, you must use commas in a list. The activity book gives the children an opportunity to write freely and demonstrate their abilities.

A set of 18 Prove It Maths Cards aimed at KS1. The cards provide children with a problem that they must prove based on number, shape, measure and money. Some number cards have a space for the child or adult to add an appropriate number, number sentence or amount of money for the child to solve/make.

A set of 40 house point cards - 20 for one house point and 20 for 5 house points. These house point cards cover different subjects and can be laminated and handed to children during the lesson to celebrate their success. Children enjoy earning house points and these cards can then be collected up and tallied at the end of each lesson. Suitable for KS1 and KS2 children.

Children enjoy answering the questions and using both their existing knowledge and imagination to construct answers. These cards are also useful for speaking and listening activities. A set of 50 Alphabet Worksheets including matching capital and lower case letters, filling in missing capital and lower case letters, tracing capital and lower case letters and finding objects beginning with different letters of the alphabet in different places eg the playground, the supermarket.
