Intransitive verbs - Level 3
This quiz exclusively looks at the seventeen verbs in French which use ‘etre’ as the helping verb in terms of:
The auxiliary verb
Recognising the past participles of the verbs
Distinguishing and recognising which verbs are intransitive
Students will be able to recall the verbs which use ‘etre’ in more depth, in particular if they have completed the level 1 and 2 quizzes

As you know, mastering the subjunctive is tricky business and it is more geared towards A-Level French. This activity basically describes more functions of the subjunctive in a nutshell in terms of hypothetical expressions and it contains step by step methods as to how to conjugate the irregular primary verbs such as ‘aller’, ‘etre’, ‘faire’ and ‘avoir’ alongside forming sentences with hypothetical expressions
Part 4 solely focuses on how to form irregular primary verbs in the subjunctive mood with revision from other verbs mastered from the previous installments

Welcome to Stage 1: The Present Tense
As I have outlined in all the stages for mastering the tenses in French, I have designed each stage which deals with the necessary tenses and stage 1 is the present tense. I cover a wide range of verbs that I deem necessary in one's learning of the language.
Not only have I made a huge bundle which consists of over 50 verbs in the perfect tense, but the conjugation workbook is also included, which is required from Key stage 3 onwards or whether adults are learning it for the very first time. It is difficult at times to remember the conjugation of the tenses which is why I have designed these activities as means of becoming deeply acquainted with the conjugation. Repetition is the key! There are two tests available which are titled as ‘Partie 1-9: Test au present’ and ‘Partie 1-9a: Test au niveau superieur’. I would recommend taking these tests before commencing ‘Partie 2: Le temps au passe compose’

Here is an interactive powerpoint which demonstrates the use of ‘avant de + infinitive’ in the theme of making a greek salad. There is also a quiz which follows where students put the sentences into the correct order.
