A basic lesson exploring types of crime and crimes on the increase in the UK OUTCOMES: To identify different types of crime To consider why some crime is on the increase in the UK To start to discuss whether more could be done to stop crime

This lesson uses current affairs for students to look at what identity and what it means to be British means to different people. The lesson then concludes with students thinking about the positives and negatives of living in a multicultural society. To explain how immigrants shape our British Identity To evaluate what problems and benefits there can be in a multicultural society

A lesson that can be used to encouarge students to revise key terms and exam key terms for the AQA 9-1 GCSE exam in Citizenship for the ‘Active Citizenship’ unit

This is a revision guide I created for our lower ability cohort of students sitting the exam in the summer. Information is chunked and in bitesize pieces for the whole of the course.

A series of activities and worksheets where students can revise and learn the key concepts and words for the politics and participation unit Worksheets can be used as plenaries/ starters etc. or a whole lesson can be designed using these activities to embed a firm understanding of the key words The Source exam question: The lesson ends with a comprehensive explanation of how to answer a source question with a step by step process, mark schemes and a WAGOLL
