AGE RANGE: (7-12); KS1/2 (KS3 Less able/Special Needs) CONTENTS: (i) A power point presentation with a range of French native speaker sound files attached to every item of language with animation designed to support both learners and presenters: Starter: Multiple choice picture listening activity centred around school life: objects, register, instructions, time on the hour; Screens 3-4: Lesson objective and key structures Here is … - Voici; mon/ma - my (singular); Screen 5: Fun dinosaur family story presenting family members; Screen 6: Saying Here is my … with relatives Screen 7: Exploring and extending inter-family relationships. Plenary: Listening activity: children listen and unjumble the sentences about the dinosaur family from the Dad’s point of view.
(ii) A lesson plan with screen by screen guidance and fun activity suggestions on how to present the show to pupils including a complete French/English vocabulary for the whole of the Level 1 Home & Family Unit with grammar notes;

CONTENTS: (i) A power point presentation with a range of native speaker sound files attached to every item of language with animation designed to support both learners and presenters: Starter: Verb Picture Match activity: Aimer; Screens 3-4: Lesson objective and key structures (Verb presentation: Habiter; Screen 5: First person singular of Habiter in engaging question and answer format with types of accommodation; Screen 6: Third person plural of Habiter with locational environment (Town/Country) Screen 7: First/Second person plural of Habiter again in engaging question and answer format with types of accommodation.
