This is a homework booklet that I have created for my year 7 Spanish group based on the textbook Viva 1 (Módulo 2). I always struggle with marking homework, so I thought this could be an easy way for students to do homework and it is very easy for them to mark (while I am doing the register, for example).
I also think it is important to differentiate homework as not all students can cope with the same activities. This is why I thought of this system. In my school, we have a points system. If students do nice things, they get points and at the end of the year the students with the most points get different rewards. With this homework booklet, students can earn points by doing more. Each page relates to one unit of the book and it has at least (some have more) three activities:
· The activities with a blue star are the easiest and they are worth one achievement point (as we call them).
· The activities with a green star are a bit more challenging and are worth two points.
· The activities with a yellow star (aim at different abilities) are extra, students complete them only if they want to. They are worth one point. Obviously the more activities they do at home the more points they can get.
Attached with this resource you will find the homework booklet (in .ppt and pdf so you can edit things if you want to) and also a ppt with all the answers that you can easily show on the board for students to mark themselves.
I hope this is useful! I am making one per module that I will be uploading soon! Bear with me!
Thanks,
@mflresources

Here are two documents, one with vocab and a worksheet about describing accomodation in Spanish.
The first vocab page introduces vocab to say where you stayed (e.g.,me quedé en un hotel de cinco estrellas que estaba en la costa).
The second page gives you useful vocab to describe accomodation (e.g.,El hotel era acogedor y grande. Tenía piscina climatizada pero no tenía gimnasio).
The worksheet is made of two activities. A writing activity and a translation. Both can be completed by looking and the given vocab.
It works really well when introducing the imperfect tense.
I have uploaded the sheets in pdf and also word so they can be modified if wanted.
Hope it helps!
