Unseen Poetry Lesson

This resource is perfect for interview lessons and uses a poem and poet that is easily linked to IB Learner Profiles. It is a stand alone lesson that could be used for cover work or in preparing for GCSE unseen questions, as well as for MYP Literature and Language. The lesson can be extended and introduces intertextuality that is accessible to students, as it revolves around references to children’s fiction. I completely enjoy teaching this lesson and look forward to it as a ‘treat’!
