Lesson on the leadership style of Adolf Hitler. This lesson also incorporates different leadership styles and gets students to think about their own leadership styles. The lesson is designed for Yr11 in the IB MYP programme, with the ATL skills of communication and critical thinking. Lesson looking at the similarities and differences between the leadership styles of Adolf Hitler and Mahatma Gandhi. The lesson recaps leadership styles and then compares the two leaders. Students are encouraged to critically evaluate the effectiveness of the two leaders. The lesson identifies what Civil Society and International Mindedness is and uses the case studies of the Pro-Democracy Protests in Hong Kong and the Arab Spring. Lesson on political attack adverts and smear campaigns. The lesson identifies what an attack ad is, it’s purpose and effect. Examples of attack ads are shown and discussed, and then students create their own attack ads for a political party. Full lesson is included, with links to videos and articles within the slides. This lesson takes around a 1 hour lesson (time can be expanded for the creation of the attack ad).

A revision document for the following (new) AQA AS Level Topics: Coasts Hazards Changing Places Fieldwork Each topic is broken down into specification points, with space to write down questions related to each of them. Students are encouraged to complete x3 questions per specification point, and then record their confidence for each confidence point in order to focus their revision.
