A 4-page leaflet comprising a bank of activities for teachers, support staff, childminders and parents to engage with their child to help their learning. The activities all involve using playdough to help the child develop in the key areas of learning such as Speaking & Listening, Mathematics, Personal, Social and Emotional Development etc. The leaflet is extremely useful for parents of children in EYFS and Year 1. The leaflet also serves to assist planning in the classroom and can be particularly useful for teaching assistants when leading intervention groups.

Here I have 2 week’s planning (8 lessons) on Wombats for Year 1 English. The planning is non-fiction and fiction literacy.
This planning has learning objectives, success criteria detailed descriptions for teacher input and what should be expected of the children based on 3 differentiated outcomes (high, middle and low).
The planning focuses on researching Wombats through various means, group work, use of ICT, Fact writing and the creation of fact files. Theres the opportunity to branch off researching further Australian animals or simply Australia in general.
Week 2 (4 lessons) is a follow up to the the previous weeks plan.
The planning focuses on diary writing and past tense verbs.

A booklet to send home to your parents during the first week of school. This booklet will serve as a great transition between the home and school for the child as it will allow them to draw pictures and (with help from an adult) answer the questions about themselves such as what they can do and what they like to play with. This All About Me booklet serves September well as generally, EYFS classrooms focus on learning about ourselves and each other. This gives each child a great opportunity to stand up and present their completed booklet and talk about it (themselves)

The lesson plan guides you with teaching how to estimate and find out by measuring with interlocking cubes (ideal units for young children). It also teaches children positional and mathematical language when, for example, identifying position and comparing in relation to the other (bigger than, the same as, next to)

To tell the time on an analogue and digital clock to every 5th minute.
To find the time that is earlier or later than a given time.
To measure and record time.
To solve word problems involving periods of time.
The planning has been designed to be easily adaptable for lockdowns/home learning. This is why the whole week is on one single PowerPoint which clearly details the learning objectives, the instructions along with 3 differentiated tasks for each day. This can easily be uploaded to applications such as Seesaw for home learning.
Notes are also included for the teacher where extra information is required which is not relevant for the children to see.
Here we have a week of planning (5 lessons) on Place Value and Statistics. The planning is aimed at a higher level Year 2 (England) or Grade 1 (Australia). The Learning Objectives are:
How to compare, order and find numbers on a hundred square when given their relative position.
How to identify, represent and estimate numbers using a tally chart, pictogram and a number line.
How to compare and order numbers using the symbols <, > and =.
To identify and represent data in a Tally Chart, Bar Chart and a Pictogram
How to interpret data
The planning has been designed to be easily adaptable for lockdowns/home learning. This is why the whole week is on one single PowerPoint which clearly details the learning objectives, the instructions along with 3 differentiated tasks for each day. This can easily be uploaded to applications such as Seesaw for home learning.
Notes are also included for the teacher where extra information is required which is not relevant for the children to see.
This Digital Phonics Assessment Tracker is designed for use with Letters and Sounds Phases 2-6.
This is Phase 2 only. It is a digital file which opens on any tablet (for example iPad or Galaxy) with an installed pdf reader. Simply tap the screen to enter a ‘tick’ besides each phoneme/ word/ sentence to signify that the child is secure in that area.
The file is editable which not only allows the user to tick each box as the child demonstrates competence in the required task, but should a child regress and need further support then ticks can be undone.
The document can easily be saved, emailed and recalled again and again to edit as the child’s knowledge and understanding develops throughout the term. There is no need to type up paper assessments to the school server anymore! With the Digital Phonics Assessment Tracker, workload is cut in half and the whole assessment procedure simplified! This complete intervention pack includes activities for finger gym, numeracy, and writing. It is designed for support staff (LSAs and TAs) to grab and deliver targeted support without the stress of them having to plan it. It is also great for NQTs or new to Early Years teachers! This complete pack is organized in such a way to allow the person delivering the interventions to list the children involved and annotate notes to support further development including the children’s next steps.
These activities are designed for children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1.
Here I have planned 13 lessons in Number for year 1 maths. The planning is detailed planning including learning objectives, success criteria, teacher input and differentiated independent activities/challenges. Furthermore, the planning is in WORD to enable you to easily edit it to suit your own class/school’s planning format.
Resources required from a third party (such as Twinkl) are suggested. I have left a suggestion to simply download them to avoid copyright issues. This is a bundle of 3 items which can be purchased separately for £2 each.
