A collection of resources used in a Year 4 class where children are writing a recount and/or Newspaper Report themed to the story of Beowulf by Michael Morpurgo.

In this 2-week unit, children are writing a setting description about the Taj Mahal and Norwegian Fjord. I used this as part of an Around the World topic with a mixed Year 4 and 5 class. This bundle includes all the resources from the 2 week unit -except from the similes and metaphors lesson which only contains the worksheets and not the powerpoint/board resources.
