Everything you need to deliver the unit of digestion for GCSE Biology (more than 90 slides, 3 WEEKS OF LESSONS!). It follows Cambridge syllabus (0610) and Cambridge IGCSE endorsed book by Jones and Jones Third edition, but it is easily adaptable to others. The topic is divided in 8 parts:
Definitions: flashcards with the vocabulary related to the unit.
Nutrients: includes deficiency diseases.
Balanced diet: includes some articles and related videos.
Malnutrition: obesity, HD, constipation, marasmus, kwashiorkor. Includes 4 revision activities
Mechanical digestion: includes care of teeth and 4 revision activities.
Digestive system: diagram to label and memorise.
Chemical digestion: includes 4 revision activities.
Absorption: ileum and colon. It includes 4 revision activities.
Revision slides with food tests, diagrams and activities for revision.
The slides have been prepared in power point . All pictures have been sourced from the creative commons website. The power point is very easy to navigate for students to be able to use it for revision.

This resource is designed to enhance Biology students skills in simple and serial dilutions.
Mastering dilution techniques is fundamental for paper 3, practical exam for CIE and these slides provide several examples for students to practice the most common ones.
They also gain hands-on experience through these slides as I provide them with the material needed to prepare the dilutions after working out the numbers.
