This resource contains 15 worksheets in black and white with colour versions - total: 30 worksheets. It is an odd one out three-letter decodable CVC word family activity worksheets.
You will see two sets of three CVC word family pictures on each page. Two of the pictures are in the same word family except for one. The learner should say the name of each picture – sounding and blending each word and then put a cross under one picture which is not part of the CVC word family, i.e. the odd one out.
These worksheets can be used for:
• extension work
• revision of word families
• checking whether your student can segment and blend CVC words
• early finishers who can work independently to complete the worksheets

Some preparation required if you wish to carry out practical activities:
Print off ten frame and/or five frame mats on card or quality paper and laminate. Laminate and cut apart mitten picture cards for long use with the mats.
