These work best if the two sheets are secured with a pin. This is great for keyword revision and for students working in groups testing each other. A set of 5 different games of thoughts and crosses that can be used as a starter, plenary and/or revision task. This works best when students work in pairs. The task is that the students have to compete to get three in a row. Which ever way they decide to try and get three in a row the questions include a range of difficulty - there is no easy pathway! These sheets cover all of the main areas from the additional science unit. There are versions available for Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

They begin with identify and move to describe and finally an explain question. These follow the AQA additional unit. They are available for Biology, Chemistry and Physics units.

Covers the main topic areas and keywords from the AQA specification. This can be used as a whole class activity or these can be printed as double-sided cards for students to use in small groups. The aim of the task is to select the question that the least people got right when asked the same question. Who therefore can get the lowest score is the winner. There are a few pointless answers in there too. Great for challenge and to really extend the most able while also supports other students with reinforcing keywords.
