This large worksheet contains several different activities about the respiratory system. The activities are as follows: Unscramble the parts of the system. Label a diagram of the system. Find words related to the system in a word search. Fill in blanks for a short paragraph about the system. Draw a diagram to show gas exchange. Match the parts of the system with their function. Bonus: Write about how the structure of alveoli helps gas exchange. Because of its size, this activity sheet lends itself nicely to pair work. Children really enjoy the variety of activities available. The document is fully editable so you can make adjustments to suit your needs. The first part of this A3 board game document is based on Snakes and Ladders. The board is fully editable, with the ability to type in the spaces as well as move around the snakes and ladders. The second part of the document contains the same board, but this time with question mark spaces and fully editable question cards to use with it. This way, the board game can be used in a variety of different subjects. Children really love using the board games to review topics. I’ve used it in English, science and maths as well as other subjects. The ability to answer a question allows the student to roll the die again and the snakes and ladders add that extra element of fun and luck to the game. Children can use anything as counters in the game. We usually have a mishmash of coins, pencil sharpeners and erasers. As you can see from the preview, the board game itself is very colourful. A four slide presentation containing a variety of pictures and symbols to map out the story of Pie Corbett’s Storm Unicorn. After familiarising themselves with the text, children should be able to re-read the story using only the story map. It makes for an interesting challenge.

Please see the preview to get the best idea of its content. It includes a welcome message, the day and date, a how are you feeling section, a quick maths problem, a where in the world section, the word of the day with definition, and many other challenges. The presentation already comes filled to the brim with a week’s worth of content aimed at UKS2, but every aspect can easily be edited to suit your children’s needs. At the start of each week I take some time to add the content and then it’s ready to go at the start of each day for the entire week. As there is so much content on just the one page, it’s best displayed on the projector. I find it perfect for mornings with the children before lessons begin. This test pack contains tests for the 2-12 times tables. Each test is comprised of 10 questions, each with a random mixture of calculation order and blanks. Children should complete the test in one minute or less. Following that, you could have the children swap for peer correction and they can circle the score and emoji. Each A4 page includes 4 of the same test so you can reduce paper usage. It also means they are small enough to stick in notebooks if needs be.
