A fun Battleship type game! Working in pairs, one student will be ‘Pirate Peg Leg’ and hide the hidden treasure on their copy of the map. The other student, using their own map need to recall the grid numbers that they think the treasure is in! If they find the treasure they score points! A fun game to introduce primary school students to the concept of co-ordinates, x axis and y axis. Includes instruction sheets, treasure chests to cut out and a treasure map. (Number scale on co-ordinate axis need adding depending on ability of class)

The Pirate Game! Players place the symbols and money amounts into a Battleship style grid. The teacher picks co-ordinates at random, and the players cross out each square as they go. If money is hit, they total up the amount in the cash section If they hit a symbol, refer to the symbol key on what action needs to take place. Includes a PowerPoint with class instructions, "The Pirate Game Grid Worksheet’ and a ‘Pirate Game Symbol Key’

A maths Christmas Elf Game, includes a PowerPoint and spreadsheet for pupils to fill in. The Rules: Each student/group gets given 12 elves, on each day they must decide whether to send the elves to the ‘Nearby Woods’ or ‘Faraway Forest’ the weather at each location is determined by rolling a dice. If the weather is good the elves come back with Christmas trees to sell. Aim of the game is to make as much money as possible! Including additional events such as “The Mountain Road”, “The Tax Man”, “The Strike”, “Elves for hire” and much more
