Included is: 9.1 Lesson on Planning Cycle 9.2 Overview of the NEA- powerpoint that guides students through each task, including revision content of the key information- I am using this mock as a way to prepare them for the NEA, so I will be supporting them in how to tackle the tasks. A new scheme of work aimed at KS3 Y7. This unit of work will be a Chronology of Monotheism. Starting with Genesis, moving through Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Each religion will cover Key religious figures, information on their holy book and a rite of passage/religious practice. The aim of this unit is to compliment our GCSE curriculum in which we study Christianity and Islam. The learning journey for the unit is included. L2: Noah- looking at what covenant means, why Noah was chosen and ending with a newspaper article task with differentiated support.

A lesson for KS4/GCSE Social Justice AQA theme, but suitable for Citizenship/PSHE lessons as there is no R.E content. This is a lesson based on evidencing Sexism in the UK. The follow up lesson will look at the role of women in the Church.

Planned for the new 9-1 Specification AQA Paper 2. A lesson that covers the key thinkers Davis and Moore (1945). Students critique the theory and answer a 4 mark question. Model answer is supplied for self/peer assessment.

New Spec 9-1 The lesson concentrates on looking at Rapoport & Rapoport (1982) as Key Thinkers. There is a proforma and students evaluate the study. Also covered looking at why there is family diversity. Please leave a review.

Planned for AQA 9-1 Specification This lesson looks at different explanations of poverty in the UK. It starts with a recap of key New Right ideas, followed by the cycle of deprivation and Charles Murray’s study into the Underclass. The lesson then looks at globalisation as a cause of poverty, finishing with a 12 mark question.

Unit 7: Principles of Safe Practice. BOOKLET UPDATED AUG 2022 Included is a SOW with overview and intent. I have included the case studies, typed into a useable student booklet that they can annotate. I have also included a complete assignment break down for the whole unit. Students use this to highlight as they go, and enter the date when they submit is, and when they have passed this element. Good for students to keep a track of their work.

This is a mini research unit that will be taught ahead of the units (after the introduction unit). It should take approximately 11 lessons to go through the basic research methods. I am aware this is no longer necessary to be taught as an explicit unit, however we feel they need the basic knowledge to be able to answer the questions in the different units. GCSE Sociology 9-1 Specification A Complete unit of lessons and 2 assessments aimed at the AQA Specification for the GCSE unit Families. This bundle would be suitable for other exam boards. This is the same unit, as a bundle already in my shop. A unit of work that sees students shipwrecked on a desert Island. They must create a community, rules, rites of passage and festivals before they are saved. The student workbooklet was photcopied back to back and used throughout. Language used refers to “levels” so will need tweaking. A new unit of work using the PSHE association mapping structure for the new 2020 Relationship, Sex and Health Education area. This unit is aimed at Year 7. But suitable for any KS3 group. The lesson then concentrates on the October 2018 cover of Cosmopolitan magazine in which they put Tess Holliday on the front (5foot 3 and 300lbs), there is a video from Good Morning Britain (Piers Morgan arguing with Cosmo editor) and students then complete and extended piece of writing on this topic area.
