I am a science teacher passionate about teaching Earth Science, Geology, Geography and Oceanography and sharing my science material/products to a wider audience.
My main focus is middle and high school, but since ability levels and needs vary widely, materials found in my shop may be useful to students from other grade levels.
I am also selling my educational resources on TpT website but under a different name, so in case you see the same resources there, it doesn't mean that they were copied.

Virtual Field Trip & Scavenger Hunt (GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS): Geography of the US
Virtual field trips are an amazing tool to use to take students on fun learning experiences from the comfort of your classroom (or living room during distance learning!).
This virtual field trip is about the “Geography of the United States”, where the students will have the opportunity to explore 8 different places in the US. They will first see the United States from above, then visit Montana, Philadelphia, New York City, Arizona, California, and finally Hawaii.
As the students go through the virtual field trip, they will be asked to complete an accompanying scavenger hunt by answering open-ended questions about the different places they are exploring.
What’s Needed:
All you need is a set of mobile devices for the students and a device for yourself (the guide/teacher) that all have the free “Google Expeditions App” before downloading your expedition. To make the activity a truly immersive VR experience, you will also need VR headsets for the students (NOT included in this resource), but it is STILL possible to participate in the virtual field trips without a VR headset.
When I use this in my classroom as a whole class activity, the students usually work in groups of three, so I use about 10 viewers. However, you can also use it as a part of a station rotation activity, so you would only need a couple of viewers.
What’s Included:
-Instructions on how to download and use the Google Expedition App for the virtual field trip
-Instructions on how to how to use the Google Expedition App with and without a “guide”
-Link to eight 360-degrees tours of the geography of the US
-PDF version of the scavenger hunt
-Editable Word version of the scavenger hunt to meet the needs of your students and to be able to customize their learning experience.
-Editable Google Document of the scavenger hunt (which can be used/assigned in Google Classrooms™)
-Editable Google Form of the scavenger hunt (which can be used/assigned in Google Classrooms™)
-Answer key to the scavenger hunt
-Extension ideas

Tarsia Math Puzzle: MULTIPLICATION & DIVISION BY 10, 100, 1000
In this activity, students will practice multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000, as they piece together the pieces of each tarsia puzzle (5 DIFFERENT PUZZLES INCLUDED). Students will match their answers with a separate puzzle piece until all the math problems have been solved and the puzzle is completed.
These MATH TARSIA PUZZLES are a FUN way for students to practice their multiplication facts that doesn’t involve a worksheet. The puzzle activity works well for individuals, as well as small groups. Alternatively, you can set up stations around the room, and have students or groups rotate to each station for a new math puzzle/game.
This resource includes:
-5 differentiated tarsia puzzles with a different puzzle shape for each
-5 answer keys
-Teacher directions
Suggestions for using this resource:
-Print multiple copies of each tarsia puzzle and place the pieces in separate plastic bags for safekeeping.
-Print the puzzles on colored paper if you find the black and white version too “dull”.
-Print the puzzles on A3 sized paper if you want the pieces extra large.
-Laminate the puzzle pieces BEFORE your students cut them out. It will allow you to use them for years to come.
-Code the backside of each puzzle piece, so it is easier to find which plastic bag they belong to in case they get mixed up with other pieces.
