This engaging and thought-provoking double-lesson resource aids students in developing a secure understanding of the chapter 8 of Anne Holm’s ‘I Am David.’ In this final chapter of the text, David almost runs into trouble but is aided by King the Dog. He then completes the final leg of his miraculous journey. The comprehensive and colourful PowerPoint presentation enables students to understand the text through: -Retrieving information; -Inferring and deducing hidden meanings; -Summarising events from the text.
