Example Stem Sentences arealso included to use in each lesson. Based on the White Rose small steps approach, the NCETM mastery approach and using examples from both these, NRICH and my own ideas. Each day includes sheets to record the steps in the lesson as you go, although some sessions could also be done directly into books. Previous plans in Autumn have been used in more than one class and children showed good progression in learning and excellent understanding and application of skills on the practise examples. An editable booklet explaining all about school for children entering Reception. Written in child friendly writing, with lots of pictures, this booklet explains school routines, Early Learning Goals and what to expect in school for children and their parents or carers. It includes lots of tips on how to make the starting school process easier and includes websites links for parents to gain further information. I have removed any personal photos and information and have added blue text where you will need to add your own information.
