Two different science themed class period labels. Periods are labeled 1-9 or A-I (in case your school is weird and letters your periods like mine. The file includes two different icons for both the numbered and lettered labels. These labels can be printed small to for bins and folders or larger for labels posted on a Bulletin board or whiteboard. If you need your periods labeled in a different way please let me know and I can make the adjustments needed.

This set includes two density labs. The first lab asks students to find the mass and volume of regularly and irregularly shaped objects in order to determine their density. The second lab asks students to once again determine the mass and volume of irregularly shaped objects in order to determine their density, but students will use an overflow can to determine volume.

This activity is a great addition to your teaching of the seasons. Students will go around the building asking other teachers and adults why they think we have seasons. Once the students have collected the data, they take time to organize it and answer some analysis questions. A ticket to leave is also included.

This project gives a rubric and outline for a student cell project. Student are invited to build a model of a cell where each organelle is not represented by something that has a similar look, but rather has a similar function. For example, mitochondria may be batteries as they both produce energy.

This lesson will take students to various sites to experience the phases of the moon. The activity starts off with a reading and then students visit a website to visualize the phases of the moon and how they change while moving around the Earth. Punnett squares are something my students always need practice with. I made this short worksheet to be additional practice for my students. I chose the Big Bang Theory theme because I love the show and I know many of my students do too. An answer key is included
