These English worksheets are excellent for preparing students to write longer summary or review pieces. They prompt the student to identify the most important information about their chosen topic, asking for basic information, descriptions, opinions, and ratings. When the students have finished, they can use the additional summary/ review worksheet for their longer writing. They’re also great preparation for debates, discussions, and presentations.

This pack of 200 conversation prompt cards and supporting activities was my go-to resource when teaching English as a Foreign Language. They’re awesome for milling activities, providing scaffolding, and building speaking confidence. Not only do they make a great warmer for English, EAL, and ESL classes, but they can also be used to improve follow-up question skills and develop relationships between students and teachers.
The cards feature starter questions, statements, and actions, and are split into eight, color-coded categories. Each category has ‘easier’ prompts (silver star cards) and ‘more difficult’ prompts (gold star cards).
Detailed step-by-step instructions for 5 main activities and 1 extension activity are also provided.

This pack contains posters and cards demonstrating correct sentence structure for all of the major English language tenses (past, present, and future) and aspects (simple, perfect, progressive, perfect progressive) plus the four conditionals. This bundle contains phonics flashcards and worksheets for all of the sounds required in the National Curriculum English Programmes of Study for the first year of Key Stage 1 English. There are 59 four-sided A4 worksheets and 290 colour flashcards.

This pack contains a large selection of activities about Day of the Dead, Halloween, Mexico, and comparing festivals. Two PowerPoint presentations introduce the two festivals. A third PP explains Venn diagrams and works through some comparative language before students use both to compare and contrast DOTD and Halloween. A range of worksheets, reading comprehension tasks, cards, games, and quizzes are included, catering for a wide spectrum of abilities, allowing a lot of differentiation and student choice. A final PowerPoint is a really fun, interactive quiz for checking students’ knowledge of the topics.
