Questions, whilst related to this information, require manipulation of information rather than simple comprehension recall. The back side of the sheet focuses on the associated problems of singe-use plastic straws. Questions relate to the impact on aquatic and human life. A challenge activity offers an opportunity for students to suggest additional solutions to the proposed ban of plastic straws by the end of 2018. There is scope for additional research in this final challenge activity.
