Powerpoint Games and Bingo Teaching Games

Average Rating4.38
(based on 27 reviews)

I developed these games while I was working in Thailand. Over the years, I taught at 4 different schools and the age of the students ranged from 8 to 16. Anyone who has worked in Thailand will know of the Thai students love of fun. The games were made for ESL students but they work with other younger English speaking students.

These PowerPoint games are great! They work well with both young and old. They last about 20 minutes, so can be used at the start or end of a class. You will need your own dice and prizes. This game asks general questions to check English understanding, but in the coming series of games there will be questions about specific grammar points.

This groups six bingo games together. Each game comes with Powerpoints that make 'bingo calling' easy. These are much more than the other bingo games one sees. Each game has 50 words. There are 20 bingo cards. There are 50 'bingo calling' cards. There are 50 random PowerPoints for easy bingo calling. Some of the bingo games have extras like a wordsearch or flashcards. You just need to print out the PDF and get some counters, I use small ceramic tiles but you can use anything, bottle tops, beans etc.. Each bingo game lasts about 5 minutes. They are great for the end of a lesson.
