A great lesson about the water cycle. Students look at key terminology & rhyming words (which help them to create their poem). They then create a piece of poetry. Mark scheme included (that the pupils create). These just need printing & cutting up. Saves a lot of time.

A simple, but fun & effective lesson about the Pacific Garbage Patch. Students create an IT presentation & present to the class. Understanding is then tested using the T&F quiz. MRI/knowledge gaps are also addressed at the bottom of the test sheet.

A super lesson that explores the ways to present, analyse & explain data. I got students to create a traffic tally on a local road, whilst keeping then in the school grounds. I then did a comparison on the city of Delhi (found a clip on youtube). Students then created a bar graph & then moved on to completing a more complex data presentation. A simple, but effective lesson linked to gaining an understanding of human & physical geography. Pupils will need to bring in magazines, newspaers or old books to cut up. I got pupils to cut cirles out of A2 coloured paper in order to create the 2 venn circles needed for the task. They then create a venn diagram. A super lesson that is practical & fun.
