A full lesson revising content from the AQA Biology module- bioenergetics. This lesson covers photosynthesis and is suitable for both trilogy and the Biology science GCSE. The lesson starts by revising the reactants for photosynthesis and the equation along with the uses of glucose. It then has a quick summary activity before looking at leaf structure. The lesson then moves on to limiting factors with a series of data based activities. In between this the lesson looks at the required practical and covers the method as well as some extension questions. The lesson closes by looking at photosynthesis in ecosystems by considering the carbon cycle (from B7) but also the role played by photosynthesis in determining which plants can grow in differetn areas. All answers provided Requires no printing as all activities are in the PowerPoint

This is a complete lesson covering sections 6.5.1 a-g of the OCR Physics specification- medical imaging using X-rays. It starts by introducing an X-ray tube and explaining how they work. It then moves onto varying the intensity of X-ray beams and how they can be used to produce images. Attenuation is the next topic along with a series of calculations. The lesson closes with looking at CAT scans and how they differ from X-rays. Each section has questions including exam style questions. The lesson includes a starter, full notes, various student led activities and a differentiated summary at the end. All answers are included. I actively try to reduce photocopying, so all of the lesson resources are within the PowerPoint rather than as extra sheets.
